Email Services and Configuration

DialupAtCost email is full featured with everything you would expect from a premium email provider. See below for an overview of features and settings. Configuration guides and detailed information on features can be found on linked pages.

You can access your email via the following methods:

• WebMail to access your email through a web browser.
• POP3 to download email onto your computer.
• IMAP for storage of email on server.

Mail server information

WebMail http://home.dialupatcost.ca/email.php POP3 Server mail.dialupatcost.ca IMAP Server mail.dialupatcost.ca SMTP Server mail.dialupatcost.ca (requires authentication)

Authentication: Be sure to enable SMTP Authentication in your E-mail client or you may not be able to send mail. If your e-mail client has trouble using a @ sign in the login, you can use +, :, or % sign instead.

Note: relaying of email is intended for personal use only. Contact sales@dialupatcost.ca if you want business scale email services.

Email clients

DialupAtCost is compatible with most popular email clients. Detailed configuration guides and usage information is provided for the following email clients:

• Mozilla Thunderbird
• Outlook (coming soon)
• Outlook Express
• WebMail (coming soon)

Email Virus Protection

DialupAtCost scans your email for viruses but does not guarentee complete virus removal. For complete virus protection, consider downloading avast by ALWIL Software.
